  • Research Administration - The Office of the Vice Provost is responsible for the coordination of proposal submission and the acceptance of awards for grants and contracts at Tufts University. These externally funded grants and contracts are available from various sources including federal agencies, state and local governments, foundations and corporations.

  • Research Involving Humans/IRB - Tufts University has two Institutional Review Boards (IRB)s that are responsible for ensuring that any research conducted under its auspices protects the rights and welfare of human subjects. All research involving human subjects must be reviewed by either the Health Sciences Campus IRB or the Medford Campus IRB.
